French Study Finds That Saffron Extract Aids In Weight-Loss
Snacking is responsible for weight-gain. Control the urge to snack, and weight-loss will ensue. Saffron can control the desire for snacks.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, January 9, 2015, Snacking is an eating behaviour that is not controlled. The result is an increase in fatty tissue. If the urge to consume carbs can be controlled, it is a big step in the Battle of the Bulge. Researchers in France performed a double-blind study to see if Saffron Extract was up to the task. A group of 60 healthy, mildly overweight women were given either a placebo or Saffron Extract. Neither group knew which one they were receiving. Caloric intake was not restricted, but after only 8-weeks into the study, the group that was taking the Saffron Extract had a significant deduction of bodyweight compared to the placebo group. Their results indicate that Saffron Extract consumption produces a reduction of snacking and creates a satiating effect that could contribute to body weight loss.
This study, and other similar studies, state the case for using Saffron in a weight-loss formula. Steve Stanley thought it a better idea to use it in combination with other top performing weight-loss ingredients. The concept behind his Adjuvan7 is that it is a better idea to have more than one ingredient that can do the same thing. In other words, there are other ingredients that can do the same thing that Saffron does. This way, if Saffron does not have the desired effect on a person, another ingredient probably will. This is a built-in “Redundancy” in Adjuvan7. Steve’s multi-ingredient formula has been created so that there is an overlap where more than one compound may have the same actions in the body. Adjuvan7 includes: Raspberry Ketones, Garcinia Cambogia, Saffron, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Forskolin, Green Tea Extract (EGCG), & Niacin.
Ever since Dr. Oz called Garcinia Cambogia “The Holy Grail of Weight-Loss”, it has become the number one selling weight-loss ingredient. But still, it doesn’t work the same in all people. Everybody has differing body-chemistries, and that means these compounds do not work the same in everybody. Doesn’t it make more sense to include “Back-Up” compounds to make sure that the specific actions are available, such as Appetite Suppression. Garcinia is well known for being a superior appetite suppressor, but it is not alone in that area of biologic actions. Some people may not benefit from the effect of Garcinia Cambogia, but may have a better effect from Raspberry Ketones, Green Tea Extract, or Saffron.
The ingredients in Adjuvan7 were chosen to: Suppress the Appetite, Block The Fat Forming Enzyme, Stop Cravings For Carbs, Make You Feel Fuller Faster and Eat Less, Raise Serotonin Levels stopping emotional overeating, Lower Cortisol Levels thus reducing stress and depression, provide a steady boost in energy and the metabolism without the use of harmful stimulants. The point is that single-ingredient formulas are not as effective as multi-ingredient formulas for the simple reason that everybody is different.
