Home » Health » Stop Falling Prey To The School District Runaround – PACES Seminar Will Expose The Lies, and Teach Parents of Children With Special Needs How To Obtain The Services Needed

“Learn how districts will promise all kinds of lip service and lie straight to your face while your child loses time against the clock. Stop waiting, stop listening to the promises and learn how to get the services that your child needs and deserves.

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA, March 2, 2015, Parents of Children with Special Needs are often being deceived by self-serving school districts that have conflicting interests. Parents attend special meetings with school district members and are often being told erroneous information in an effort to save resources while attempting to look like they are doing something for the Children with Special Needs. This could not be further from the truth. These school districts have deception down to a fine art. Fancy acronyms, abbreviations, and non-existent statutes and rules all used as a ploy to pull the wool over unsuspecting parent’s eyes.

It doesn’t have to be that way. The PACES Seminars have helped many parents get the services their child needs and deserves. It boils down to becoming empowered with insider information, and that is what happens at a PACES Seminar. These Seminars are being presented by none other than Martina Sholiton’s, Founder of PACES, (Parental Advocacy for Children in Exceptional Situations). Martina learned the inner secrets of the school district’s maze of rules and make-believe rules from the trenches. She is the former Director of Special Education in San Jose Unified School District and Assistant Superintendent in charge of Special Education in Monterey County. PACES was created to stop Parents from being given the run around, or worse.

Martina Sholiton will be the presenter at a unique Seminar scheduled for March 14, 2015. Attendees will learn how to properly prepare for the IEP, and how to control the meeting so they are in charge. Everyone will learn what must be known that they won’t reveal. Stop the delaying tactics employed by the school districts. The PACES Seminar is entitled: “My Child Has an IEP – How Do I Get What I Need?”. It will be held on March 14, from 9am to 1pm, at 81 Daggett Dr., San Jose, CA 95134. Bring your IEP because 12pm to 1pm will be Q & A only. Registration is available online at: http://www.paces.solutions/my-child-has-an-iep/

Martina will be attending a Fair at the Westfield Mall in Silicon Valley, San Jose, CA on March 7, and is a great opportunity for parents to stop by and say hello, meet current clients, and Register for the March 14 Seminar. The Westfield Mall Fair is an open house for all parents to see an elaborate amount of Summer Programs and camps for all children with all types of special talents and needs.
