DUBAI, U.A.E., October 19, 2015, Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD) is the definitive fashion platform for Dubai and the Middle East – which provides a platform and a progressive direction for fashion in the region. Zareena is debuting her first ever Ready-To-Wear collection in Fashion Forward Season 6. The label is simply called “Zaroon by Zareena”. Zaroon is Zareena’s nickname; the launch of the Label’s initial collection holds an appropriate flashback to her birth years, a decade that reflects the spirit of what the label stands for. This is the first time that Zareena is launching her ready to wear. She had been known for her high quality eveningwear, now she is catering to the daily fashion clothing and accessories.

The uptown girls are in town. A collection portraying the fun, hip and trendy cuts and colors coupled with Zareena’s knack for quality and creativity. Inspired by the 60’s, the collection encompasses life as it was back then: Bright, swirling colors, Psychedelic, tie-dye shirts, long hair, short skirts, boots with stiletto heels and goggles. The collection brings back the nostalgia of the working, single and “Uptown Girls”, after which the collection is named.

FFWD is held twice a year, each April and October at The Madinat Jumeirah and the final day, The Day At d3, is held on site at Dubai Design District (d3). The Season 6 event: SPRING/SUMMER 2016: 22 – 25 October, 2015. For Dubai fashion designer, Zareena, this is her fourth season at the upcoming Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD).

Zareena, herself an award winning designer, will be showing her new collection along with 21 other elite Middle East fashion designers. Professionals in the fashion industry from all over the planet will descend on Dubai to be part of the Fashion Forward experience. Many of the fashion experts will be giving inspiring talks and conducting panel discussions. FFWD is an industry focused event, welcoming members of the regional and international fashion communities to come together in support of Middle Eastern design talent.

In 1994, Zareena established her fashion house, Fasateen, in Dubai. Every single detail in a Zareena dress is meticulously planned. Her use of chiffon, combined with silver and gold threads and the ethnic embroidery provides the elements in the creation of collection pieces that will leave a lasting impression. Zareena has been the recipient of many awards, such as the Designer of The Year from L’officiel Middle East magazine, and recognised best designer by Emarat El Youm newspaper, and also by Sayidaty Lifestyle Magazine.
