“Niko And His Magical Ear Muffs” brings back memories of the first family pet, often obtained after a trip to the local animal shelter. Such is the case with Niko, who was a resident of the local shelter in Giorgio’s home town. Pet Rescue Day was the perfect time to fall in love with a little puppy and provide a caring home. It wasn’t long before little Giorgio spotted an adorable puppy with big ears. This was to become the family pet, and Giorgio promised to take good care of him.

On the way home, the new pup was given the name of Niko. The storyline develops as Niko was fitted with a pair of ear muffs to help keep him warm. As time passed, it was apparent that Niko could not be separated from his ear muffs. This delightful story continues as Niko finds himself in one funny situation after the other. Niko discovers a secret map in the attic and is off on a magical journey and meets many new friends. A great story to stimulate a child’s imagination.

About the Authors:

Danielle DiGiorgio is a mother and entrepreneur. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science. She has been working in the restaurant and hospitality business for twenty-two years with the last ten years dedicated to special event management. In 2010, she opened a French restaurant called Central Bistro, located in the heart of downtown Boston. Danielle is a certified fitness professional. In 2012, she successfully launched a fitness business, offering lifestyle, nutrition, and coaching to new and seasoned moms. Along with children s books, Danielle is also actively writing new and exciting fitness and family cookbooks. Danielle currently resides in her hometown of Burlington, Massachusetts, with her son, Giorgio.

Steven Formaro is a government employee and currently holds the rank of Major in the US Army. He graduated from Syracuse University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts. In 2009, he then received a Master’s degree from Iona College. Steven grew up in Larchmont, New York and joined the US Army as an officer at the age of twenty-seven in response to the 9/11 World Trade Towers attack. From 2002 to 2006, he served on active duty and was deployed to Iraq with the 3rd Infantry Division. Steven is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom III (2005) where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. Steven is an active real estate investor, allowing him to fulfill his passion for architecture and design. Steven resides in Lowell, Massachusetts with his two dogs, Daisy and Jaxxx.
