Waltham, Massachusetts, July 5, 2017, NWN Corporation and Kurmi are pleased to announce that NWN Corporation has selected Kurmi Service Provider Suite to operate NWNComm, its Cisco HCS based UCaaS offering, replacing CUCDM. This choice occurs in the context of Cisco HCS Open Architecture, allowing HCS Partners to implement the right domain manager that best fits their needs when requiring additional features and customization beyond what CUCDM product offers.

NWN helps its customers solve business problems with proven, relevant IT solutions and services, with a focus on public sector and mid-market enterprises in the North American market. With over 625 skilled employees, the company offers the depth and knowledge of a large IT solutions provider, coupled with the personal service of a neighborhood firm. NWN is a Cisco Gold Partner and has been awarded Cisco’s Highest Honor for more than 14 years.

With Kurmi technology, NWN will be able to address the key challenges of the Unified Communications market in terms of flexibility, customer’s deployment, day-to-day operations and user experience. More specifically:

• A single operations management platform to automate the entire life cycle of their clients from onboarding to end-users provisioning and day-to-day administration.

• A modern and proven software architecture delivering high performances while scaling their customer’s base.

• Flexibility to easily design new UC&CC packages and to integrate new services along the way (Spark Hybrid, Shared Architecture).

• Straightforward user-friendly administration/self-care portals to enable their customer’s administrators and end-users to perform MACDs in full autonomy.

• Advanced role based access control features to delegate MACD’s to customer’s local administrators, closed to the teams they manage for their UC services, with no compromise on security.

“As we look to the future, we continue to see NWNComm as a major growth area. Therefore we needed a technology platform that could scale with us. Kurmi is a solution that we believe will enable us to continue to gain operational efficiencies as we grow this business as well as a better user experience for our customers. In addition, Kurmi provides the flexibility for us to extend our platform to additional offerings as our customers look to move more capabilities to the cloud and manage multiple cloud offerings.” says Skip Tappen, CEO of NWN Corporation.

“Customer focus and operational excellence has always been in the DNA of NWN. So they have perfectly understood that streamlining customer onboarding and day-to-day operations, as well as offering a “consumer grade” user experience to their clients will be key differentiators for their UCaaS offers, especially as the market is moving to the Cloud at an increased speed. We are excited that an HCS Partner with such expertise in Cisco UC products has chosen Kurmi to replace CUCDM. It is a first foothold for us in the North American service providers market, after major HCS references in Europe and APAC.”, said Pascal Moindrot, COO, Kurmi Software.
