Face Mask Manufacturer PuraVita Announces Donation of Technologically Advanced Face Mask Equipment To Utah Valley University
PuraVita Medical has been at the forefront of the pandemic by answering the call-to-action for sorely needed USA made medical grade face masks. Since the beginning of the pandemic, PuraVita stepped up and began supplying large quantities of USA made face masks to individuals and hospitals, while donating to those in need.
Lindon, UT – Sept 13th 2021, PuraVita Medical, a medical-grade mask manufacturer based in Lindon, Utah announced their donation of highly advanced mask manufacturing equipment to Utah Valley University. They donated two 3-ply surgical mask manufacturing machines to the Engineering department at UVU as the country continues to combat Covid-19. Attending students will have the ability to learn, experiment and produce masks for the community with the equipment.
Founded in 2020, PuraVita Medical strives to safeguard the population by producing lab-tested, high-quality, and trustworthy face masks. Parented by a company with over 25 years of supply chain, manufacturing and logistical experience, PuraVita Medical works to strengthen America’s autonomy of medical supplies.
As the machine itself is difficult to source, the donation made by PuraVita Medical is a unique contribution to UVU’s Engineering department and will create valuable opportunities for students now and in the future.
Dean Moaveni, Dean of Utah Valley University was quoted as saying, “We were delighted when we learned that PuraVita had selected the Utah Valley University College of Engineering as the recipient of its state-of-the-art mask-making machine and its accompanying technology. The opportunity for our students to see firsthand the intricacies of this technology is not something we can duplicate in the classroom, and are grateful for this generous donation.”
During a recent interview, Darin Long, Founder and CEO of PuraVita Medical was quoted as saying, “PuraVita was created for three primary reasons. To save lives, reshore American jobs, and help America become independent its own PPE needs. We firmly believe that donating this equipment to Utah Valley University is inline with our mission because this will help to teach and guide the new generation of Engineers and Scientists.” He went on to say, “We are excited to see what the future holds for the bright students of Utah Valley University.”
