New Patent Granted on Whole Body Vibration Therapy and Spinal Weighting
St. Cloud, MN, July 18, 2016, Vibe For Health is pleased to announce the recent granting of its patent, Method of Neuro-Musculoskeletal Proprioceptive Re-Education and Development of a Living Body and Apparatus Therefor (US 9,351,897 B1), on innovative whole-body vibration (WBV) therapy with spinal weighting.
The VIBE was developed in 2001 by Dr. Dennis Woggon, a doctor of chiropractic with over 42 years of clinical experience. It was created specifically as a postural rehabilitation aid, to be used in conjunction with a system of spinal weights that are uniquely applied for each patient to help improve their posture. It can also be used with a specialized chair to help advanced spinal disorders such as Scheuermann’s hyper-kyphosis and scoliosis.
Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) therapy is an innovative, drugless approach to preventing falls & fractures, as well as improving posture and fitness. By exercising on a vibrating platform, the muscles contract more efficiently, blood circulation improves, and the rate at which the brain and body communicate is greatly enhanced. Many vibration platforms are advertised to help with weight loss, athletic ability, or physical fitness; the Vibe is the only WBV platform designed specifically to be combined with specialized weights to improve posture and spinal health.
Vibe For Health was the first company to develop and perfect this innovative approach to improving posture and balance. WBV therapy, used at the correct settings and combined with reactive body weighting, can reduce forward head posture, help with neck & back pain, prevent falls & fractures, boost the immune system, improve posture & co-ordination, increase flexibility & ranges of motion, and enhance the benefit of spinal exercises. However, incorrect settings can actually cause damage to the muscles, bones, and joints.
The VIBE utilizes a specific, fixed frequency that has been shown through scientific research to be safe and effective in improving balance, posture, and bone density. Using only one fixed setting ensures patients receive the maximum benefit from WBV therapy.
The Vibe is safe to use by people of all ages, at home or in the clinic. For more information, including a television feature on The Vibe and a free research packet on Whole-Body Vibration therapy, please visit: www.vibeforhealth.com, e-mail: care@vibeforhealth.com, or call (866) 520-4270.
