Parents with young children can now experience the same high-quality music and movement curriculum taught at “In Harmony Music” since 2003. From the safety and comfort of their homes.

San Francisco, California, August 27, 2020, “In Harmony Music” is now offering online music classes for families with children ages birth through eight. Parents with young children can now experience the same high-quality music and movement curriculum taught at “In Harmony Music” since 2003, from the safety and comfort of their homes.

Like all of our classes, In Harmony Music Online is designed to teach the way young children learn: through play. During each live online music class, teachers from In Harmony Music lead activities for the whole family to sing, dance, drum and jam along to and demonstrate how to make everyday items like dish towels, spoons, pots, simple percussion instruments as well as keyboards and ukuleles as part of your child’s education. Even though the teacher is on the screen, each class is an interactive music-making experience for young children and their grownups. Classes for ages 4-9 are accessible for homes-choolers and distance learning. In Harmony Music is a vendor for homeschooling organizations nation-wide.

During a recent interview, Justine Chadly, “In Harmony Music” director, made these comments, “At this challenging time, we know that parents are looking for educational and fun activities for their children. Making music is something the whole family can enjoy doing together, and it naturally supports children’s development. Plus, music connects us like no other activity, and right now, we need that connection more than ever! With In Harmony Music Online, families become part of a virtual music community. We sing, dance, drum, and strum in our online classroom each week, and parents are inspired to extend the fun and learning throughout the week, supported by our family materials, bonus activities, and connections in our private family Facebook group or portal.”

The In Harmony Music teaching staff holds graduate degrees in music education and delivers inclusive, developmentally appropriate teaching for all children.

Parent Testimonials tell the story. Take a look at what this Verified Music Together Parent had to say, “The Music Together curriculum has allowed my son and me to connect with one another through rhythm and melody. And Justine’s energy and enthusiasm are infectious! My son and I carry her energy home from class each week, leading to days and evenings filled with song and dance. She is one incredibly talented teacher.”

Enrolled families receive materials to use at home plus an invitation to a private online community for In Harmony Music families. Classes are appropriate for children under 9, but the entire family is encouraged to participate and caregivers are learning too.

Registration for classes and lessons at In Harmony Music is now open, and new families are welcome to join at any time.
